  • Fumed Silica

     

    It is white, loose, amorphous, non-toxic and non-odorous nonmetal oxide. Due to the nanometer effect, it has excellent properties, such as reinforce, bodying, thixotropy, insulation and others. Therefore, it can be widely used in the rubber, plastic, paint coating, adhesive, seals and other polymer industrial area.

  • 2,4-Dichlorobenzoyl peroxide (DCBP)

     

    It is a diacyl organic peroxide and used as silicone vulcanizing agent. It is commonly used in extrusion silicone products like silicone tubes, medical tubes, wires, cables, etc. It has the advantages of no pores, good transparency, and stable physical properties after secondary vulcanization. The suggested addition ratio is 1.0%~1.5%.

  • 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di-(tert-butylperoxy) hexane / DBPH

     

    It is a very stable peroxide with low volatility. It can be used as an effective high-temperature vulcanizing agent for silicone rubber. It can also be used for vulcanization of EPDM rubber, fluoro rubber vulcanization and cross-linked polyethylene, and as a PP degradation agent. The recommended use ratio is 0.4%-0.6% and vulcanization temperature is 160℃ -175℃ .

  • Methyltris(methylethylketoximino)silane/MOS

     

    It is a clear colorless fluid with a typical smell (MEKO). It is oxime silane-based crosslinkers for producing neutral moisture-curing silicone sealants. Using these silane compounds, hydroxyl-functionalized silicone polymers are crosslinked to obtain a silicone elastomer under the effect of a catalyst and moisture. While using, no acetic acid or amine is released in contrast to acid or alkaline cross- linking systems, but methyl ethylketoxime. As this cleavage product reacts neutrally, sealing compounds based on crosslinker oxime can be used even on sensitive substrates such as marble. It is often the main crosslinker of choice for oxime silicone sealants and can be used by itself or in combination with other oximesilanes to provide the sealant with targeted properties (such as desired cure rate, adhesion, etc).

  • Vinyltris(methylethylketoxime)silane /VOS

     

    It is a clear and almost colorless fluid with a typical smell (MEKO). It is used as a neutral curing agent in silicone sealant formulations. In most cases, it is used in combination with methyloximesilane. Compared to formulations based on methyloxime silanes only, the use of combinations containing methyl- and vinyloxime silanes leads to a shorter skin formation time of the silicone sealant without a reduction of the curing time. The ability of the sealant to withstand stress early, required for a certain elasticity and tear resistance, is achieved.

  • Methyltriacetoxysilane

     

    It is a clear to yellowish liquid with acrid odor of acetic acid (vinegar). It is transported from the production site as the parent silane to formulators. It is used as a cross-linker at 3% to 5%. Since it is compounded into a consumer or industrial sealant or adhesive, it reacts with the silicone. After curing the parent silane becomes cross-linked into the silicone rubber matrix and no longer exists, this greatly reduces the potential for consumer or worker exposure. It is often the main crosslinker of choice for silicone sealants and can be used by itself or in combination with other acetoxysilane to provide the sealant with targeted properties (such as desired cure rate, adhesion, etc).
