It is a diacyl organic peroxide and used as silicone vulcanizing agent. It is commonly used in extrusion silicone products like silicone tubes, medical tubes, wires, cables, etc. It has the advantages of no pores, good transparency, and stable physical properties after secondary vulcanization. The suggested addition ratio is 1.0%～1.5%.
It is a very stable peroxide with low volatility. It can be used as an effective high-temperature vulcanizing agent for silicone rubber. It can also be used for vulcanization of EPDM rubber, fluoro rubber vulcanization and cross-linked polyethylene, and as a PP degradation agent. The recommended use ratio is 0.4%-0.6% and vulcanization temperature is 160℃ -175℃ .
